I have been a Net10 customer for more than 5 years. I decided to upgrade my old LG phone to a newer Samsung T401C with text keyboard. I received my new phone today and called Net10 for assistance on transferring my old number, service dates and minutes to my new phone. The Net10 support technician requested the transfer and told me to wait between 1 and 72 hours for it to take place. At no point I was told that there might be a problem transferring my old number.
However, a new number pop up in my Samsung T401C. I NEED TO HAVE MY OLD NUMBER BACK in my new phone as I use it for emergency contacts and business calls.
I called Net10 again to request the transfer of my old number but I was told that a Port request needed to be submitted and that I HAD TO CALL AT&T because they own the old Net10 number account. I was given a 1-877-252-7716 number to call to request the transfer of the number but no one seem to be able to help. The main reason I remained with Net10 was to keep my old telephone number. This is very frustrating!!!
