NET10 DIDN'T TRANSFER MY OLD NET10 NUMBER TO MY NEW NET10 PH

I have been a Net10 customer for more than 5 years. I decided to upgrade my old LG phone to a newer Samsung T401C with text keyboard. I received my new phone today and called Net10 for assistance on transferring my old number, service dates and minutes to my new phone. The Net10 support technician requested the transfer and told me to wait between 1 and 72 hours for it to take place. At no point I was told that there might be a problem transferring my old number.

However, a new number pop up in my Samsung T401C. I NEED TO HAVE MY OLD NUMBER BACK in my new phone as I use it for emergency contacts and business calls.

I called Net10 again to request the transfer of my old number but I was told that a Port request needed to be submitted and that I HAD TO CALL AT&T because they own the old Net10 number account. I was given a 1-877-252-7716 number to call to request the transfer of the number but no one seem to be able to help. The main reason I remained with Net10 was to keep my old telephone number. This is very frustrating!!!

Hi. My situation is the same. My phone has been deactivated because I didn't refill the airtime. The last time it was deactivated, I had my old phone number back. But now that I tried doing it again, I was assigned a new number. So as you can see that created a little problem, since I had that phone number on all my work contacts. I've tried calling Net10, but the main menu didn't seem to help no matter which option I chose.

I'd appreciate it if any one from Net10 would take a few minutes to help me out in this. Thanks!

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! I have been trying to transfer my net 10 number from one net 10 phone to another net 10 phone. I have been calling customer service for almost a week and still do not have a working phone. I am not happy at all. The old phone is inactive and I can't make calls on the new one. The customer service rep was very nice and told me that the number has been transfer to the new phone. It is still not activating so I am without. Why is this so hard? Spent a lot on the phone and on the card,not to mention the hours and expense spent on the phone trying to figure this out. Not happy. This seems to happen a lot from what I have heard. I will not be taken advantage of. Either want my money back, or phone activated. Thank you.

Good luck trying to get anything done. I have been working over a week trying to get number ported. They have sent 3 sims cards and now another phone that was suppose to fix it. The new phone was a smaller refurbished phone. On one of their many attempts at fixing the problem my correct number shows up but dials out as another number but call will not connect. The more Im involved in this the more of a scam I see taking place. At this point Im just trying to recover my decade old phone number. BTW the second phone was suppose to be loaded with 750 minutes but has 10 minutes. The original 750 minutes I paid for has been involved in trying to correct issue and it is probably gone to. Please post if you have any luck but Im having my doubts .

In an attempt to upgrade to a new Net10 phone (from my current Net10 phone) with the intent of keeping my current phone number, I was given a new number -- not happy, as I don't want a new number. So I now have 2 phones w/ 2 different numbers. Please help!
