porting from verizon prepaid

I am trying to port my old number from a verizon prepaid phone to a new net10 phone. I was told to enter the number that was to be ported as the account # when porting the number online. I have received 2 calls from net10 about the account # and when I try to call the customer service number, I have waited on hold forever without ever getting to a real person. HELP :evil:
