porting my home voip number to active net 10

porting my home voip number to active net 10

Is it possible to port my active home phone voip number to my active net 10 phone online?
Both phones and phone numbers are active. The home number is a number I ported to Phonepower, a voip service I've had for a few years. The active net 10 phone has over 2100 rollover minutes to date and is on the easy plan. Both numbers are per the same zip code area. I understand porting the home number will terminate the active home number service when completed. I understand 911 will need to be told my location if ever called. Any thoughts?

Hi. My name is NET10 Marianne and I will be addressing your question. Yes, it is possible to port your home phone number to your active NET10 phone and it may take up to 30 business days. However, to complete the port process, we will be deactivating your NET10 phone number. If your NET10 phone has a simcard, we will be sending you a replacement simcard which could take 3-5 days. By the time your NET10 phone will be deactivated, you will be de-enrolled from the easy minute plan. You will keep the minutes and service days that you currently have. Once your number has been attached successfully, you can re-enroll your phone back in the easy minute plan. Thanks.
