activate NET 10 phone with number provided, and later port m

I just received my new net10 phone with whatever # was automatically assigned to it. If I use the net10 phone with the assigned number, but I later want to replace the assigned number with my current number from a different mobile provider (this number is still active),is this possible?If so, how do i do it?thanks

Yes, you can still request for your existing number from a different service provider to transfer over to your NET10 phone. Just let us know and we'll do the process for you. Please take note that when porting a number from an existing provider may take 24-72 hours to complete.
