New Phone Activation

I called to activate my new Net 10 and port my number from Tracfone. I was told that I had to add an airtime card when I activated. I used a 750 min 30 day card. It has been 7 days and my phone is still not active but the days are counting down. I now only have 23 days left. I do not feel that I should lose days on my 30 day card when I am not able to use it.
