Transfer Net10 number to new Net10 SIM

Transfer Net10 number to new Net10 SIM

Postby dapatton » Fri Oct 13, 2017 7:27 am

Hello,

I recently got a new phone and wanted to transfer my existing net10 number to a new net10 SIM card (needed a nano SIM for my new phone). I went through the process activate the new sim and to transfer my net10 number to it and instead it gave me a brand new number. I didn't want to get a new number. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi JavierNT, I checked your pm and the link does not work. Anytime I try to chat it says that chat is offline. Its been 3 days since I tried to change my existing Net10 number to a new Net10 SIM. Both of the SIMs are the ATT version and both of my phones work. I just want my existing number on my new phone.

Hi,

After 2.5 hours talking to customer service I now have 3 active SIM cards with 3 different numbers. My original SIM card shows in the system as disabled. The SIM card is still active and I called customer service from the phone last night. They told me I need another SIM card and opened a second ticket (#1173309339). I dont want another SIM card with another number (all 3 SIM cards work in my phone and all have different phone numbers). I need you to reactivate my original SIM card in your system with my original number. I am very upset with the lack of support, and need to speak to someone who can fix these issues. Please forward this to someone who can restore my SIM in your system!

Thanks

I tried to do the same thing with my old phone, which is broken and doesn't work at all and still has service on it. Instead of just activating the new SIM Card and giving me the rest of my minutes they told me that it wasn't possible because the phone is still active. But if the phone isn't working anymore why can't you just transfer it over for me? This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life. It seems like a simple fix to me. Just turn my service off and put it on the new SIM card, but then they tell me if they do that, then I might lose my number. Umm...why? This is so dumb. I might leave net10 if they can't fix this.
