It seems it is very difficult to port a phone number out from Net10. I request my current provider to submit the porting request on Jan 10, 2017 and the request was rejected due to "All telephone numbers, including the billing telephone number when provided, must belong to the same carrier." I communicated with Net10 for an update and was told they never received the request. I contacted my current provider again to resubmit the request and received confirmation that the request was indeed submitted on Jan 24, 2017 but when I called Net10 porting department on Jan 26 and was told again they had not received such a request. I wonder if any responsible staff at Net10 could contact me to have this issue resolved.
