One week later and my number still hasn't been ported out

My new cell company started to try and port out my current number from NET10 about a week ago with no luck so far. I have been in contact with my new company almost daily because my NET10 service date is fast approaching. Everyday I get told that they are going back and forth with NET10 because NET10 won't release my number which is really starting to annoy me. I would just like for my number to be released sooner rather than later because I don't like paying for my new cell service and not being able to use it.

I am also getting a delay for porting my number. Net10 won't release it
