Invalid SIM error

I used the CDMA activation kit with network access code to activate my unlocked Sprint device. My phone is now saying "Invalid SIM" and it hasn't begun any update process, and nothing I can do can get it to start. I've tried turning it off and on many times and have used the code ##72786# but both to no avail. What do I need to do to fix my service?
