Transferring number to new phone

I am trying to transfer my phone number to a new net10 phone. I get this at the bottom of the screen. "Our records indicate that your phone has a pending transaction, therefore we need to check your phone's internal settings. Please note that during this process you may need to enter programming codes into your phone. Once we have checked your settings, you may continue with the phone upgrade process by clicking on the Activation link in the home page." So I go thru and get the code and enter it but it says that the code is invalid. How is it invalid? it's the code you gave me. Very frustrated.
