Can I use your SIM in another phone?

Hi,
I think about getting your unlimited plan with a free phone (Samsung Galaxy Centura Refurb).
However, I would like to use your SIM card in my current phone (unlocked AT&T compatible). The free phone I get from you I want to use as a back up phone with another SIM card.

Therefore, I have 2 questions:
1) Can I use the SIM received from you in my own phone or is it somehow locked to the received free phone?
2) Can I use your free phone with another career or is it locked to your network?
