Help Porting from MetroPCS

Hi,
Just ported my iphone 4S to net 10 (ATT sim), from metroPCS. The iphone is factory unlocked and used to be on straight talk (ATT sim) so it works with AT&T network.

When will the phone be activated and Should I keep the old sim or the new sim in the phone?
