Porting Numbers from ATT Family Plan

Hello!

My wife and I are going to be switching to Net10 shortly. We have already bought compatible smartphones, and bought the SIM cards through the BYOP Activation Kits. Right now we are on my parent's family plan (their contract expires Apr 12), which contains two other numbers besides ours, but we really want to keep our current numbers. We are planning on enrolling in the $90 per month 2 line family 'plan'.

I want to know if porting my wife and I's phone numbers to Net10 will in turn deactivate the other two numbers on my parent's family plan. If this is the case then I won't bother with porting, because my mom and dad still want their contract with ATT. I don't know if anyone else here has had a similar experience going to Net10, but I thought I would ask.
