Unable to delete or disable T-Mobile APN from HTC One S

My husband's buddy upgraded his phone and passed his old HTC S One on to me.
I Switched to Net 10 30 day unlimited from Tracfone, ported my number and voice is working fine.
I can't get to data because the phone won't allow me to enable the new APN or delete or disable the T-Mobile APN.
At least I think that's what's happening.
