still waiting on porting phone number between phones....

I don't understand what the holdup is. I attempted to transfer my current Net10 number to a new phone. It has now been over 24 hours and I still have an un activated phone. (message says "in process of being ported from another carrier")-this is an old Net10 phone going to a new Net10 phone. I was told by a rep that my service would be transferred at 6:45pm (after wasting 45min dealing with rep). Well that never happened. I have transferred other phones in the past without issues. Had I known it would be this much of a production, I would have taken up other options for phone service elsewhere. What a pain!

I am having an issue getting my number poted over as well. Cant get anything to work phone just says sim not provisioned.

I've been waiting 3 days for my port to transfer, now my old phone is turned off, but my Net10 phone still isn't active.

Why does it take so long to port a number? Signed up yesterday and entered all the information, Credit card was charged. Account does not show any thing. no service. what gives please.

Also please try to answer so it can help other people, this are what forums are for.
