I don't understand what the holdup is. I attempted to transfer my current Net10 number to a new phone. It has now been over 24 hours and I still have an un activated phone. (message says "in process of being ported from another carrier")-this is an old Net10 phone going to a new Net10 phone. I was told by a rep that my service would be transferred at 6:45pm (after wasting 45min dealing with rep). Well that never happened. I have transferred other phones in the past without issues. Had I known it would be this much of a production, I would have taken up other options for phone service elsewhere. What a pain!
