Merging accounts?

Hello, I created an account and ported my number, but my account isn't showing my phone. When I try to add it by entering the phone serial number I get this result: "We are sorry, the Serial Number you entered is associated with another account."

I had some issues with the porting process, so maybe another account was created by support? How can I get my phone associated with my original account?
