Possible new customer.. order questions

Possible new customer.. order questions

Postby opal » Tue Jan 27, 2015 2:42 pm

My husband and I have been with tracfone (pay as we go) for a while.
I found a net10 plan (family..2 phones..auto-pay) on the site that we would like and want to keep our current phones. I think they're both compatible.. tracfone big easy and big easy flip. We're old people and like our no frills, big button phones.
My questions are:
To switch to net10, do we both need new sim cards? if so, this means we loose all our stuff that's in the phones currently, right? Or can our contact lists and call records somehow be saved?
When I add that plan to my cart, it doesn't mention sim cards (which is why I'm confused as to the need for new ones) does it include one card.. two cards? do I need to order them separately?
How long does it take from ordering time - assuming I order on line, to when our phones get switched? We're both low on the pay as we go minutes and are wondering if we need to get more so we are not without phone service waiting for the transfer to happen.

Angel: Onemoment to check the information.

Angel: By purchasing the phones, they will come with their SIM cards. You don't need new ones. However, the previous SIM card from old provider can't be used on these phones. Therefore, the contacts and previous information cannot be switched.

opal: this question is in the category of bring our own phones

opal: may I have someone that has read the question and has english as a first language please

Angel: These phones are branded phones, and you cannot use SIM cards from another provider on them.
