I switched to MetroPCS on the evening of December 27, 2014 and supposedly had my now former Net10 number (canceled Net10 as of two days later on December 29, 2014). All was good until I tried remove my old Net10 phone from my Google Voice account. It took some days to get it figured out due to the holidays and that NEt10 cell having died completely (wouldn't even turn on). From there I continued working with GV help forums until getting stuck at "verifying" my new MetroPCS cell (after removing the old NEt10). I could call out on Metro cell and use my data plan, but in-coming calls were being forwarded to my GV voice mail, which I had it set to do with my now dead NEt10 cell that had my MetroPCS original number.
Well, this weekend, MetroPCS canceled my account due to "not contacting them back" after they "realized that incoming calls went to GV voice mail. Needless to say, I'm rather irritated with NEt10.
Can someone please send me written proof that one has X days to get their number ported to their new carrier from Net10 along with proof that my Net10 was indeed ported properly to MetroPCS?
Thanks in Advance,
Jennifer
