HTC Desire 510, former Sprint cell

HTC Desire 510, former Sprint cell

Hey everyone, quick question!

I've been given a HTC Desire 510 that was used on Sprint by one of my roommates. He ended up letting his service be cutoff, and gave me the cell. My question is; is it possible to use it with Net 10 even if Sprint cut it off? Im not sure how N10 handles "ESN Issues" or if Sprint could block it from being activated on the N10 service?

I did go to the n10byop site, and entered my info in under check compatibility (IMEI and zipcode) and selected "other carriers" since Sprint wasn't listed. The site did say it was compatible, but wanted to try and find out about it being a disconnected Sprint phone before I ran out and bought anything.

The phone in settings says its LTE / CDMA and it does have a sim slot (still has the sprint sim installed)
