Porting for New Service with Sim that has not been registere

I put in a request to port my current number to new NET10 phone with a new SIM card that has never been registered. I had hoped that by using new phone/new sim, I would not have to wait for a new SIM card to arrive and take 7-10 days. Also, I was reading up on the web that this is the best way to go. Since the SIM card has never been registered and I do not yet have number on my phone, why the redundancy of getting a replacement SIM? I am concerned because the number I am porting is main number that everyone calls me on. Thank you.

Jessica,My current provider, AT&T, has turned off sim card on my phone and I still have not received any confirmation from Net10. Now, I cannot wait 7-10 days, as I am without a phone and cell phone is used for my business and home use. Please let me know what I need to do.

Good day, Joh. As per offline conversation, your port request has been completed and SIM card will be sent to you in 3-5 days up to 7 days. Once SIM card is received and inserted, phone will work automatically with your requested phone number. I believe this resolves your issue. It's been a pleasure helping you. Have a good day.
