Hi alett. My name is StraightTalk Stephanie. Sorry that you’re having a problem. I’m going to try to help you now. Please make sure to update your APN settings by following the below values:
1. Press "Settings"
2. Select "General"
3. Select "Network"
4. Select "Cellular Data Network"

*if this option does not appear, the handset is not Jailbroken
Jailbroken iPhone Standard "Stock" iPhone
The following fields will appear:
• Cellular Data
• APN: att.mvno
• Username: leave this field blank
• Password: leave this field blank
• MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
• MMS Proxy: mms2.tracfone.com:80

• This IP Address must include the MMS Port; otherwise it will not work on the iPhone.
• MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
• MMS UA Prof URL: do not make any changes to this field
• Make sure to delete the current APN on your phone and reboot
Thank you!

Hi. I have the same situation. My iphone has been unlocked by ATT (and I have confirmation of this). I downloaded the Apple iphone Configuration Utility that was recommended by Net10. However, I need a walk through. I do not see the following fields:

"MMSC: http://mmsc.cingular.com
MMS Proxy: mms2.tracfone.com:80
This IP Address must include the MMS Port; otherwise it will not work on the iPhone.
MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
MMS UA Prof URL: do not make any changes to this field

Make sure to delete the current APN on your phone then reboot. Thank you."

So - the bottom line is - no Internet on my iphone 4s with iOS6.

Thanks
James

Hi, James. My name is NET10 Shelly. Let me continue to help you. The "Cellular Data Network" will not appear on the phone's settings if the phone is locked by the manufacturer. Please search online for more information on how to unlock or jailbreak the phone. Thanks.

Hi Shelly,

Thank you for the quick reply. The phone is unlocked from ATT, though it is not jail broken. I received email confirmation in itunes that the phone was unlocked.

Hey Everyone,

The problem is solved. There is a great discussion about this bug on Mac Forums. There is (what appears to be) a great site called unlockit.co.nz which will change your iPhone apn settings for you. Note they do not jailbreak the phone. My only anxiety is allowing any 3rd party to have access to my phones settings...but it definitely works!

For folks who wish to read the helpful discussion, it is here.
