Received a Samsung On5 I didn't order?

I received a package yesterday addressed to my 17-yr old son (who uses the phone, but the account is in my name). It was a Samsung On5 and it had Net10 activation instructions with it. I didn't order it, my son says he didn't order it and my account doesn't reflect that either of us ordered it.
I also got an email from Net10 telling me to activate the phone. It came to the email address that is on my account. This all seems really fishy, especially given other posts I have seen about "Free Promotion" emails and the weirdness they reported with them.
