Upgrading my iPhone

I am a current Net10wireless customer. I'm on the family plan of 4 phones. My wife and I have older iPhones and would like to upgrade these to version 6 or 7. Because we have plans in place for the 4 of us, and we are only upgrading 2 of the phones, I'm not sure where to begin the upgrading process. I avoid calling Net10 because I often cannot understand the operator and there's often a communication breakdown. Can the upgrade be handled seamlessly through my Net10 account (online) or is a phone call necessary? We are open to purchasing the phone within or outside of the NET10 website. Help is appreciated.
