I found out on Turk Forums that Net10 had announced it was capping/limiting phones with AT&T SIM cards at 1.5GB beginning March 1, 2013. They weren't, however, doing that with the other carriers.

The "Unlimited" plan isn't actually unlimited anyway — calls, texts, pics and internet access are. But if you're doing something like streaming YouTube videos, Net10 may cut you off for excessive data usage.

Im plannong to move to net 10. I want to really know if with the net 10 sims card i will have the 1.5 GB data or unlimited. I just need a yes or no.

Do they really cap data at 1.5 GB per month?

What happened after reaching the 1,5gb limit? Does they disconnect internet at all or they switch to edge speed but internet continues working?

is it the same if you have an unlocked ATT phone? is it still just 1.5gb?
