actually ZTE merit problem

I have had my ZTE merit for about 45 days now and I have to say I am becoming disappointed with its internal memory issues. I have been looking online for a solution and the only one mentioned is that I should root the memory. I have attempted to contact ZTE and they say I need to contact Net 10. I have contacted Net 10 and they told me that I need to move applications to my phone. I have done this with all of the applications that will go to my phone. The issue I am having now is the "low on space" message and that my Gmail app will not download any new E-mails because it cannot update. I am desperate for a solution.

My zte merit keeps telling me that it is low on space. I have nothing downloaded except for what came on the phone. It is causing my phone to run slow and/or not work at all. Extremely frustrated

I have the exact same problem as this guy as well as many other people do with the ZTE Merit and the storage problem. I just purchased this phone a couple days ago and got the message that im running out of storage but have yet to download any apps.
