Need to know where to buy a replacement battery for UMX

My son has only had his phone a little over a year. Two months ago it was having difficulty keeping a charge. We have unlimited data, texting and calling but his date was nell. Now the phone will not come on at all. It will come on when attached tothe charger but can only text not call. Is there a fix for this? A place to order a new battery? Should I pitch it and go with a new phone and carrier? We have been looking at Sprint. I have his sister's phone with Net10 too. Please reply with assitance to the battery issue.
