Re: Can't recieve MMS

This is getting really old. I have been getting the run around from NET10 for the last 2-3 weeks on this issue. I have posted on the forums several times. We have gone through the PM thing that doesn't help. Here is the full story. Someone please help.

My wife and I both have the EXACT same phones, Nexus 4. I came to NET10 with the BYOP program. I have had issues getting the data to work at first. I posted on the forums and after a lot of headache and run around PMs and emails and phone calls finally someone at NET10 changed some setting on my account and suddenly my data worked and I could send MMS. I had the APN settings correct the whole time. Now my wife's phone works flawlessly and mine can send MMS and use data but will not receive MMS. I had someone on a PM ask me if I can send a MMS to myself. No I can not the message sends just fine but is never received by my phone. I replied to that PM and got no reply. So I called customer service and talked to someone who had me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up on me. I called customer service back and they told me that it is my phone settings. That is just not the case since my wife and I have the same phone and the settings are identical and hers works and mine doesn't. Whoever the person was that "flipped the magic switch"and made my data start working in the first place if they could please flip the other switch and make MMS work i would be grateful. If this is not resolved soon I will go somewhere else.

(Edit to add APN settings since you will undoubtedly ask me a 10th time for them)

This is so bizarre. Why do you "take all the issues offline to discuss further?!?" Isn't that the whole point of a forum, to post solutions to problems so other people can read them and get help too? Wouldn't it be easier on your moderators if they wrote a solution once and allowed everyone to read it instead of sending PM's to every single user that has the same problem?!?

Hi Rszombie. Transaction that requires phone information such as phone number will be discussed through private message for security reasons. Thanks.

You're right, it doesn't make any sense. And they sound like damn robots. Is NET actually on all your birth certificates? At least TRY to sound less canned. And you DO NOT need to ask for our phone numbers when giving us settings to work for MMS and Data. Don't try and tell us you do, because that's complete crap.

do you even have any supervisors or managers looking into how frustrated your customers are? Do you guys even exist, because I wouldn't be surprised if you were machines the way you speak on the forums here.

This service (both your phone service and your service to your customers) is not worth saving $20-$30 a month. Contacting the Better Business Bureau about this, it's absolutely ludicrous.
