Nokia Lumia 1520 BYOP not getting service

I literally switched today in hopes that I would get service. I unlocked my phone from at&t prior to activating it. I saw my sister buy a net10 phone. When she activated it she was getting 4glte signal. I was with cricket at the time so I wasn't getting any coverage here. Except for an occasional window. I switched to net10 hoping I could get coverage but I am still without coverage which doesn't make sense to me. My sister gets coverage so why don't I? I just need help on how to fix it or if I can get a boost to signal in this area or something.
