Error Code 97 means that you need to renew your phone's airtime. It took me a couple days, but after going to my account on Net10.com, I found out that my phone was inactive. These days my phone's browser will send me to StraightTalk's website, even if my phone is with Net10. All of my apps will work but instead tell me that I have no connection. Your phone's 3G and "bars" will show up as white instead of green. Green means you have full service. White means only part of your service is working, or in the case of needing to renew your plan, not working at all.
