LG900G How to transfer text messages to new phone

Does anyone know how to transfer text messages from one LG900G to another? I found out how to backup the messages under Messages -> Settings -> Backup Text Messages -> External Memory. This saves all the messages in one .txt file. But I have not found a way to retrieve/restore the messages onto the LG900G from the micoSD card. And the LG900G can not read .txt files.

Please don't worry, you can use Google account or mobile phone transfer tool to help you transfer text messages from one LG900G to another. About the way of using Google account, you can check the details online. And about the way of using mobile phone transfer tool, you just need connect both of them to computer via USB Cables, then you can directly transfer text messages between them.
