2017 LG K3 will not send or receive calls

I purchased a 2012 LG K3 two month ago and added it to my account with a BYOP ATT sim card. Last week it stopped sending or receiving phone calls. I tried to port my number back to an old Samsung R455C feature phone until I could get the LG working, but it's hung up in limbo. Now I have a dead smart phone and a feature phone with an unusable (to me) phone number. I need a working cell, with my current phone number, for my job.
