lg440g issue

Postby thedaniel » Sun May 07, 2017 12:38 am

My LG440G is dead. When it is disconnected from the charger, nothing lights up, screen is dark, none of the buttons respond to my fingers. When it is connected to the charger, the LG logo will light up for a couple of seconds, then the screen changes to a blinking "please wait" which after a few seconds changers to a large icon of a battery with the text "charging". After some time (a few seconds to several minutes - I've tried this several times), the screen will change to "battery is full. Please remove from charger to conserve energy". When I remove it from the charger, the phone is once again dead: dark screen, none of the buttons operate.
