LGL52VL No longer sends or receives sms after refilling.

I've been in contact with support a couple times already. So far we've managed to turn my phone off and on, sit around without a battery/sim in it for awhile and restart, turn the data connection off an on again, and do a factory reset.... pretty much all a waste of time.

A few days after adding an unlimited airtime card my phone will no longer send or receive text messages. It tries for about 30 seconds to several minutes, then it gives me cause code 97.

My data, calls, and mms work fine, only sms seems to be effected.

I had similar problems with the last phone I bought, the same model, except it was data that stopped working, then everything a week later, and then the phone just quit working while I waited two more weeks for a sim that never came, wouldn't even turn on. I'm starting to think this ones going to do the same thing and I made a big mistake not switching.
