Phone asking for PUK code

I accidentally mistyped my pin several times and my phone ended up giving me a screen asking for the PUK code - something that I do not have. I've been looking around for a solution online to no avail, any guidance would be appreciated. I've got an LG L44VL if that helps whatsoever.
