Can not send texts

My husband and I both have LGL21G phones and neither of us can send text messages. Have tried to turn off and restart phones and that did not help. We have unlimited plans so that is not the issue. Our daughter is in another state on a band trip and this is how we are able to communicate with her so we need this fixed yesterday.

I too cannot text from my phone. This just started this evening. I tried the hard boot and that didn't help. Any suggestions?
