I purchased my LG Optimus Extreme last month, and I have been very happy with it so far. I got a $25 750 minute Net10 Wireless card to start with last month, and because of the way money is, was not able to to get another before my service ran out a few days ago. Today, I was able to purchase another, and attempted to reactivate my phone. After entering the correct serial number for my phone and the airtime PIN for the new card, I received the message;
Your phone is not compatible with this Airtime PIN, which means you won't be able to use it now nor in the future. If you are activating this phone for the first time, you can do that without a PIN. Otherwise, you will need to provide a different Airtime PIN.
I have carefully tried and tried again, making sure all of the numbers are correct and whatnot. This is the exact same kind of card I purchased last month, so it should be compatible? Is it because my service was deactivated? Does this render my $25 useless? I would appreciate any guidance, as I am stumped, and growing more and more frustrated with the notion that I just threw away that money because I didn't know that this would happen. Thank you!
