LG 900G Transferring files to the phone from a PC

I would like to transfer some pictures and mp3 files from my PC to my LG 900G phone via a usb cable.I recently purchased the necessary cable and plugged it into both my phone and my computer. Soon afterwards I heard a sound from my computer telling me that it recognized a device had been plugged into - and - two options appeared on the phone - one for data services and the other for mass storage.Unfortunately in selecting either one - when I look under COMPUTER in Windows 7 to see the 4gb memory card I have installed in the phone - I do not see anything.How can I sent files directly to the memory card on my phone via an USB cable?

Hi pauliw25. My name is NET Vince and I will be addressing your question. Once the phone and the PC is connected using the USB cable, go to your PC and click on My Computer then check if you have the Removable disk drive. Click on it so that you can see the files on your phone. Then click on the folder that contains the mp3 files and pictures on your PC. Highlight all the files that you want to transfer to your phone from your PC then copy it. Paste it on your phone files. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Transferring files to the LG phone from PC is not easy, but we can ask help from LG Data Manager tool. It allows us to import/export files between LG and computer via usb cable. Files, including contacts, messages, music, photos, videos, etc can be easily transferred.
