So I called tech support and basically here's what happened- after 45 minutes of waiting you get someone who (after repeating that we need to learn how to lock the keypad
) repeatedly states that all they can do is replace it with the same model. Also that it is the consumer's responsibility to know about the products they choose. Sure thing! I am now! No more Net10, no more Samsung for me. Apparently this is not the only Samsung that has this issue. It's not a feature, it's an idiotic design flaw that NO ONE will take responsibility for.
