Phone mobile hotspot

I have previously used my phone as a mobile hotspot, it was a Moto G3 part of the bring your own phone plan. I Have now purchased the new moto G4. And I used the same sim card, no problems. Until I went to turn on the mobile hotspot, it will not allow me to turn on the hotspot. please help
