Net10 lost my number and now they can not find it

I’ve been speaking to numerous personnel in regards to activating my number onto a sim card. After purchasing numerous SIM cards they are now telling me I can no longer have my number which I’ve had for 10 years. My number was ported over from att to net10 and now no one can find it. I am highly disappointed in the poor experience I had for the past two days with net10.
