Lost 90% of minutes

Postby nzjxtg » Tue Feb 13, 2018 8:12 pm

I added minutes less than 24 hours after my End of Service date. When I added the minutes, the phone stated Unregistered SIM. Technical support was able to get the phone back online however it only showed the 300 minute balance from the card I just added. I have been adding minutes to the phone for years to keep the number active but had not been using the phone except for occasional texts and phone calls. During that time, I had accumulated a balance of over 11,000 minutes prior to my End of Service. In working with Technical Support, they stated there were only 1,100 "authorized" minutes for my phone and that is all they would credit back. The net result of this is a loss of over $1,000.00 in airtime. The Net 10 website clearly states "Airtime which remained at the time of deactivation will remain on your NET10 phone if it is Reactivated within 30 days from the deactivation date." I reactivated in less than 1 day but all I get from the manager I talked to is that there were only 1,100 "authorized" minutes and that has already been credited to the phone. I do not know what these "authorized" minutes are as opposed to the minutes I PAID FOR IN FULL. I cannot believe this is how a long time customer is treated. I am posting this hoping I can communicate with someone who can address this issue more effectively.

BECAUSE IN THIS FORUM QUESTIONS AREN'T ADDRESSED FOR ALL TO SEE. FURTHER DISCUSSION USUALLY GOES ONLY TO THE INDIVIDUAL ASKING FOR ASSISTANCE. AS FORUM MEMBERS, WE ARE LEFT IN THE DARK.

LOOK AROUND AND YOU'LL SEE WHAT I MEAN; THERE ARE NO NET10 ADVISORS THAT ARE REAL... THERE IS ONLY A COMPUTER PROGRAM TRYING TO SIMULATE VARIOUS HELPFULS; USING DIFFERENT NAMES SUPPOSEDLY FROM DIFFERENT WALKS OF LIFE (AS THE SPELLING OF THE FAKE NAMES TRIES TO IMPLY)
ITS ALL TOTAL BOLLOCKS AS FAR AS THAT GOES

BUT

DONT BE DISCOURAGED BECAUSE ABOUT 7 % OF IT IS ACTUALLY BENEFICIAL AND THERE ARE ANSWERS TO BE FOUND AMID THE SECRET INTONATIONS AND THE TOTAL LACK OF OPEN DISCUSSION.
AS FOR MYSELF, THIS DUCK HAS HAD IT; ANY ANSWERS I NEED I'LL GOOGLE IT!
