Reset voicemail password

I haven't been able to get onto my voicemail ever since I got my phone. It tells me to enter my password even though I never set one. I have tried the default passwords like my phone number, last four digits, etc. Also tried holding down 1 and nothing. I have dialed voicemail to 611611 and still nothing as well. Would like to get this fixed because it is quite annoying. Thanks
